This festive season, our Methodist churches have been finding creative ways to connect with the community and share the message of Christmas!
At Yate Methodist Church, handmade stars decorated the city, a shining reminder that each of us is a little star in God’s world.
Meanwhile, Horfield Methodist Church launched an Advent Trail, placing angels and stars with Bible verses near benches around Horfield. Each day, a photo of the next bench location was shared online, inviting families, friends, and children to follow the story of the first Christmas and discover these “treasures” in their neighbourhood.
The response has been heartwarming — people have shared thanks, excitement, and joyful comments as they found the stars and angels, bringing smiles and gentle reminders of the true meaning of Christmas. ❤️
A huge thank you to everyone who took part and helped spread hope, joy, and the story of Christ’s birth across our communities!
