What a fantastic afternoon we had at our recent Church Fayre—a true celebration of community, fun, and teamwork! Despite a few passing showers, the weather was kind overall, and spirits remained high as friends and neighbours came together to enjoy the day.
From the tireless efforts of those who set up gazebos, sorted donations, baked scones and cakes, served teas, and helped with clearing up, it was clear this was a real team effort. The support and hard work of so many people—both from the church and the wider community—made the Fayre such a success. A huge thank you to everyone involved, whether behind the scenes in the weeks of preparation or on the day itself.
We were delighted to welcome Amanda Prowse, who kindly opened the Fayre and crowned our Harvest Queen 👑. The afternoon was filled with wonderful music from Ride the Edge and The Parish Players, adding to the lively atmosphere.
A good time was truly had by all! For those who won raffle prizes but weren’t there to collect them, we’ll be in touch shortly. The final total raised is still being counted—so watch this space for an update soon!
