Last Sunday, on International Women’s Day, we gathered to say goodbye to Reverend Emma Langley, who has been a cherished part of The Church in Westbury Park and our circuit for 19 years. It was a joyful and touching farewell, and we are grateful to everyone who joined to celebrate Emma’s ministry and dedication.
Emma has been a truly valued minister, a thoughtful member of our Communication Group, and a trusted voice in countless conversations across the circuit. Her ideas, laughter, and presence will be deeply missed by all who have had the privilege to work alongside her.
We give thanks to God for Emma’s faithful service and the many ways she has blessed our community. We wish her every success and blessing as she begins her new ministry as Priest in Charge of Saint Anne Eastville and Mission Lead for the East Bristol Mission Area, a new and exciting role that will shape the growth and development of the mission area.
Emma, we will miss you dearly and are grateful for the time, care, and joy you have shared with all of us. We send you our very best wishes as you step into this exciting new chapter of ministry.
