A Morning of Sharing, Reflection, and Community at The Haven

On Saturday 28th February, we gathered together for a morning full of conversation, laughter, and heartfelt sharing. Over croissants and coffee, we took time to share our good news, the things that worry us, and the ideas and hopes we carry for the future. It was a space where everyone had a voice — a place of openness, honesty, and understanding.

The atmosphere was filled with a sense of belonging. We laughed, we listened, and we reflected deeply. It was a mindful and gentle start to the weekend, reminding us how important it is to pause, connect, and support one another.

We were especially honoured to welcome Rev Richard Andrew, President of the Methodist Conference, as our guest. He shared a few moving stories that invited us to think about faith in action and how God’s presence can be seen in the everyday moments of our lives. His words encouraged us to look beyond the surface and recognise the quiet ways in which God works through people, conversations, and community.

As we left, there was a shared feeling of gratitude — for the stories told, the friendships strengthened, and the reminder that when we come together with open hearts, we truly see God at work among us.
