More than 30 children and their families came together for a fantastic morning of fun, creativity, worship and fellowship at the recent Messy Church: Recycling event.

The morning was packed with hands-on activities, as children made their own mini greenhouses from recycled plastic bottles, decorated delicious cupcakes and enjoyed a range of other creative crafts. Through these activities, everyone was encouraged to think about caring for God’s wonderful creation by reusing and recycling everyday materials.

During the worship time, the focus was on what the Bible teaches about being good stewards of the Earth and caring for all of God’s creatures. It was an opportunity to reflect on how even small actions can help protect the world God has entrusted to humanity.

After a busy morning, everyone enjoyed a delicious lunch together, giving families the chance to relax, chat and strengthen friendships within the church community.

Heartfelt thanks go to the dedicated Messy Church team for their enthusiasm, hard work and careful planning, which made the event such a success. Thanks also go to all the families who attended and helped create such a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

The next Messy Church will take place on Thursday 29 October, offering another exciting morning of fun, creativity, worship and friendship. Everyone is warmly invited to come along.
