The Church in Westbury Park recently held its very first Makers Market, and what a wonderful day it turned out to be! The event was filled with creativity, community spirit, and plenty of cake.

Visitors were treated to an impressive array of stalls showcasing the skills and talents of local makers, and there was no shortage of enthusiasm from those who came to browse, buy, and support. Alongside the market, the ever-popular cake stall added to the enjoyment, thanks to the generosity of many bakers.

The success of the day was made possible by the tireless work of volunteers, whose efforts in organising, setting up, and running the event were deeply appreciated. Together, this fantastic team helped raise over £1,000 for Medical Aid for Palestinians, as well as providing a valuable opportunity for conversation and connection within the community.

A huge well done to everyone involved for making the very first Makers Market such a memorable and meaningful occasion. We look forward to seeing how it grows in the future!
