There was a wonderful sense of joy and celebration at Zion United Church on Sunday evening as friends, family members and guests gathered for a special baptism service.
The service brought together people of different generations in worship as the church family celebrated the baptisms of Esther, Zavier and Cailen. Each baptism marked a significant step in their journey of faith and provided an opportunity for the whole congregation to celebrate alongside them and their families.
The evening was filled with worship, prayer and thanksgiving, as the church community gathered to witness and support these important commitments of faith. It was a particularly special reminder of the way the church family can come together to encourage one another and share in moments of faith and celebration.
For Esther, Zavier and Cailen, their baptisms represent the beginning of another chapter in their journeys of faith. The congregation continues to hold them and their families in prayer as they grow in their relationship with Christ and discover what it means to live out their faith.
Reflecting on the evening, Minister Sharon said simply: “It was SO amazing! Loved it!”
The service was a beautiful expression of the joy of Christian community — celebrating faith, family and new beginnings together.
We give thanks for Esther, Zavier and Cailen, and pray that they will continue to know God’s love and guidance as they journey in faith.
