Westbury-on-Trym Methodist Church celebrated creativity, community and care for the environment at last Sunday’s Café Church service, led by the Messy Church team.

The gathering gave people an opportunity to reflect on the theme of the latest Messy Church event, which focused on looking after our planet and exploring simple ways we can all make a difference.

One of the highlights was a fun fashion moment, as some of the ladies proudly modelled hats made from recycled newspaper! The imaginative creations demonstrated how everyday materials can be reused rather than thrown away, showing the power of recycling in a fun and practical way.

Through conversation, reflection and a little creativity, everyone was encouraged to think about how small changes in our daily lives can help protect the planet.

It was a wonderful reminder that caring for God’s creation can be enjoyable, meaningful and something we can all play a part in.
