We all know how difficult it can be to start something new. But we also know that we cannot reach new goals without being willing to try something different. So, well done to Hanham Methodist Church for doing just that!

The church recently held its first Family Fun Afternoon for families and children in the village. It was a lovely, cosy gathering, bringing people together for an afternoon of fun, creativity and friendship.

The event was themed around Noah’s Ark, with a range of crafts and activities inspired by the story. Families also enjoyed hearing the story of Noah’s Ark, followed by refreshments and time to chat together.

One of my personal favourites was the floating boat activity, complete with a little pond where the children could put their creations to the test and watch them float!

It was wonderful to see families enjoying themselves and sharing time together. A big well done to everyone at Hanham Methodist Church who helped organise the afternoon. We hope this is the first of many family events to come!
