It was a weekend full of colour, creativity, and celebration as the church marked an incredible milestone—175 years of faithful witness—through a beautifully presented Floral Festival.
Visitors from across the community and beyond stepped through the doors to experience a stunning array of floral displays, each thoughtfully arranged to reflect the rich history, life, and ongoing story of the church. From vibrant arrangements symbolising key moments in its journey to quieter, reflective pieces, the festival offered something for everyone, drawing admiration and sparking conversation throughout the weekend.
The event was more than just a visual celebration. It became a space of welcome, connection, and shared joy, as volunteers greeted guests and stories were exchanged between generations. Many remarked on the warmth of the atmosphere and the evident care that had gone into every detail.
The celebrations reached a high point on Sunday morning, as the church gathered for a special service. With the building filled, the worship was both uplifting and inspiring—an opportunity to give thanks for the past, celebrate the present, and look ahead with hope. Music, prayer, and reflection combined to create a meaningful and memorable time together.
Events like this do not happen without dedication, and heartfelt thanks go to all who contributed—those who designed and arranged the displays, helped organise the weekend, and offered hospitality to the many visitors who came through the doors.
The Floral Festival stands as a testament not only to 175 years of history, but to a living, active community continuing to serve and flourish.
